Welcome to Glow Elsewhere.
Glow Elsewhere is a skincare and travel-lifestyle space built around a simple idea: good skincare should work in real life—not just in a perfect routine.
I’m Korean and have been working as cabin crew for almost five years. Between long-haul flights, irregular sleep schedules, dry aircraft cabins and long days wearing makeup, I became much more interested in understanding what my skin actually needs.
Over the years, passengers and colleagues have often asked me about my skincare routine, the products I use and Korean skincare in general. Those conversations inspired me to create Glow Elsewhere—a place where I can share the skincare habits, beauty tips and practical lessons I’ve learned from both my Korean skincare background and years of working in the air.
Growing up in Korea also shaped the way I think about skincare. Rather than looking for a quick fix, I’ve come to value consistent care, choosing products based on what my skin actually needs and building routines that are realistic enough to maintain. Here, I also share some of the skincare habits and beauty practices that are part of everyday beauty culture in Korea.
On Glow Elsewhere, you’ll find practical information about caring for skin in dry environments, managing skincare around irregular schedules, preparing skin for long makeup days, travel skincare and Korean beauty. I’ll also share my own experiences with products and routines when they can add something useful to the conversation.
My goal is simple: to make skincare easier to understand and easier to fit into real life, while sharing useful lessons from my Korean skincare background and life spent frequently on the move.
